The Envysion application is based on three primary components delivered in a secure IT architecture:

• Envysion’s MVaaS Application – All data is stored in the cloud, including saved video clips and central administration
• EnVR® – Envysion’s proprietary, network friendly NVR resides on site and connects to the customers cameras
• Web Browser

Security and Network Protection

The security of our customers’ data is a top priority. Envysion has deployed a strong security defense across its network assets.

The EnVR®, Envysion’s proprietary DVR, meets all relevant PCI specifications and receives regularly scheduled updates in order to comply with PCI-DSS scans. The device features a built-in firewall and advanced network security and connection methods to remain friendly with customers’ firewalls, while still providing our customers with advanced security.

The Envysion application employs 24×7 intrusion detection, has additional 3rd party security firm support, is protected by Cisco firewalls and is deployed within a SAS-70 certified, third-party co-location facility . In addition, Envysion requires a unique ID and strong password for each user to access the application via an Internet browser. For added security, the Envysion application can be optimized for use on a customer’s private network.

Since the MVaaS solution is cloud-based, Envysion is constantly improving its security measures and is able to immediately make those improvements available to our customers.  Envysion can also rapidly deploy additional security measures on both the EnVR® and within the application to address new threats, a major advantage over traditional surveillance solutions which leave a customer’s network at risk until an upgrade or patch can be installed on each user’s machine.
